New App Drawer

When did this happen?! I clearly remember using my phone just last night and having the old app drawer. Is there a setting somewhere to change this back to the old one? Being forced to vertically scroll is very annoying and inefficient compared to the old app drawer where you quickly flick left or right.

Edit: I found another post about it here. Looks like an app update with "Google App". No apparent way to roll back so far...

There's always Nova Launcher and other 3rd party launchers. I agree, I prefer the horizontally scrolling pages.

EDIT: Also, be aware that you can drag the scroll bar up and down, and you can easily see where you are in the alphabet.

This is also why I try to avoid third party skins as often as I can, one reason why I bought my Moto X.
