T-Mobile Band 12 with Marshmallow

Will Band 12 allow better phone coverage / range not just data?

It should since VoLTE should be included once band 12 is updated -- therefore your phone calls will go over that band.

Until band 12, I had no signal in my office whatsoever and with band 12 I have 3 bars which I believe is about
-108dbm.

Yes sir.

I am on Verizon and want to ditch them. Can't yet
This second screenshot was taken with TMO sim card if I force into LTE only there is 0 Service.

in dialer this is the only hidden menu I can access but still it won't connect to b12 I tried bunch of stuff and still nothing. On verizon it switches between b13 and b4 fine,with tmo stays on b4.

Yes sir also using signal check pro it shows lte band and signal in the status bar.

However after some digging and asking questions on XDA it appears whoever is on custom rom can't access B12 but those who sideloaded/took OTA , without even root are accessing B12.

under imei IMEI SV if it shows 02 you can access B12.

Verizon shows SV 00
Tmobile Lolipop : SV 01 <no band12
Tmobile MM B12: SV 02

it shows SV 01 when I put tmobile sim on MM.

Are you in a Band 12 area? From my understanding it will only connect to Band 12 when it needs too (not sure if you can force Band 12). Band 12 is slower than Band 4 from what I have heard.

Band12 works already for me had to restore to stock and other stuff. All is good as of today.
