Why does my volume keep going down on Moto X Pure edition?

I have a moto x pure edition and I usually use earphones when listening to music and watching YouTube videos, but yesterday I tried to not use my earphones and I turned the music up all the way because the speakers are awesome on this device and when I turned it up all the way, I noticed it got really loud like always, but a second later the volume lowered by like 50% but it showed it was at full volume.

Disable app Audio Effects and then restart. Got this tip from a Google search and it fixed the problem I had that you have.
