Taking good pictures?

Hi!

So my Moto X Play is, as far as I'm concerned, the best phone I've ever used... it's only downside is picture quality. Even though the pixel quality is great, the results are always a bit flat and white-ish.

I'm not expert at taking pictures so I'm not that good with the vocabulary but what do I have to do so that my kids don't look so pale and for colors to be richer and fuller?

Nothing specific about the phone itself? Everyone is happy with the pictures the Moto X Play takes by default?

Are you using the default camera?

Yes I'm using the default camera. But there's no real option to make it's colors better which is a shame (of course coming from a Lumia maybe I'm biased ).

If possible, try CameraMX. It literally utilises the complete potential of the X Play's camera. The processing of the images is clean and crisp too.

Use the google camera app (which is available in PlayStore). It is better than CameraMX
