Hi Folks,
While trying different roms on my Moto X Play I managed to do something that has caused TWRP to no longer flash roms, it spits out this code "Error Code 7" when it fails. Which from what I can tell means that my phone is reporting to be a different phone to the roms I am trying to install,
The only way I can now install a rom is through ADB. I am currently using XT1562_LUX_RETEU_6.0.1_MPD24.107-52. I have not found a lot on the net but have tried any suggestions i could find including trying to roll back to a stock rom fromt the motorola website (LUX_RETLA_DS_LPD23.118-6.1_cid12_lux_retla_ds) but that didn't fix it. Don't think it entirely rolls back to the previous version
I also can't seem to root my current stock rom but am sure I was able to before I had this problem. Flashing super SU just hangs the rom and I have ot install the entire rom through ADB again.
Any help to sort out this very frustrating problem would be most appreciated.
