4G signal strength indicator

All of a sudden the indicator on the top bar no longer is displaying the 4g/signal strength bars. I've tried rebooting and the normal stuff. I spoke with Motorola who had me reset app preferences, try safe mode, and wipe cache. None brought it back and their only solution right now is factory reset.

Has anyone ever seen this and/or knows a solution without a full reset?

Did you get an update recently? That may have removed it.

Only update was when I got phone 8 days ago, been fine till yesterday.

Are you able to do phone calls, texts?

Yes, phone is working fine. If i pull the notification tray down to where it has all the bluetooth, airplane mode and other settings it shows 4G and the meter. Just not on the top bar anymore

Have you enabled the System UI Tuner? Just in case, go to settings - scroll all the way down - tap on System UI Tuner (if there) - tap on status bar and make sure everything is checked.
