no major hardcore test here, but just snapping random pics with my Force after it got 7.0 seems to take pictures quicker

I remember people saying that about each update as they occurred with the Razr Maxx HD, then with the Droid Turbo. Is there anything in the Nougat changelog that would indicate an improvement in the camera speed?

Just tried because I haven't really played yet but it seemed faster, although the whole phone seems faster, which I didn't think was possible

Great pictures. Is it my imagination, or does the camera have to "think" a little longer before the shutter engages at 21 MP than at 16 MP? It seemed that way this past weekend. I want to take a serious look at the Hasselblad camera mod to see just how responsive the dedicated shutter button really is.

The camera mod isn't that good. If you need the zoom in good light, it's okay. But overall quality the force camera was nicer in my test

I try to upload samples from my Moto Z Force and it never attaches to the message and the size isn't that big...samples from other phones attach...weird...

I have that one and it uses a fair amount of battery for me, but perhaps I'm just on it too much.
You made me look this up just to see. After 4 hours on battery I have 7% screen time and at the very bottom is this app at 1%.

Ya know, admitting you have a problem is the first step. Lol 😁

I have to say, coming from Google Pixel (tired of waiting for the XL when the 5" was too small and Bluetooth Issues), I am very impressed with the Moto Z camera, especially with 16x9 (which was "crippled" on the Pixel to 8MP)

16:9 is never ideal with a camera sensor that is 4:3 or 3:2. The camera software is just cropping the top and bottom of the photo for you. It's only good, frankly, if you know that you need a photo with that shape.

It is ideal for us because we view our photos on our TV most of the time and if not there, then on 16x9 monitors.
