I think I'm going to hold off a few days/weeks once it is released to us. After playing around with it on the Pixel XL, I'm a bit concerned about how stable it will be with Bluetooth and Android Auto. Both were a little unstable for me. Just enough to make me cautious.

I always say I'm going to hold off on updates for phone or computer - but I never do.

I'm that way too. But after experiencing Nougat first hand, I didn't really see much difference in my daily use. Nougat was a little unstable when it came to Bluetooth and Android Auto. I use a Bluetooth headset all day when at work and need it to be stable. So I'm going to try to hold out a few days. I'll be posting here looking for input from others and watching for other issue.

The Pixels are Nougat 7.1, but the Moto Z and Force may get 7.0. (It'll be interesting to see if Moto uses 7.0 or 7.1. So far only Pixel phones have 7.1, with even Nexus devices in developer preview.) It could be that there is an issue with 7.1 BT that doesn't exist in 7.0. It could also be due to the radio hardware in the Pixel and not Nougat.

But, yeah, smart to wait (since you can't go back.) Particularly for something like Android Auto.

Btw, sorry for the off topic, but if the android auto issue with the pixel is when you are cable connected, it could be the cable that came with the pixel. See https://productforums.google.com/for...m/android-auto
