Home button unresponsive

When I am using any app I hit the home button and it does not respond. Then I'll hit it again and it usually works. The back and the task button seem to work fine. When show touches is turned on it does not show the touch either.

Did you just upgrade to 7.0? I can't think of anything else to do but a hard reset of your phone since they are software keys. Obviously something is wrong with the software

This happened to me right after I updated to 7.0. I just did a hard restart and it has been fine since.

problem solved. That ALWAYS breaks my home button.

That's the only one I tried, that's how I know it messes up the home button

As another user has stated, I would suggest restarting the device to see what happens. A factory reset may help (as a last resort) as well, but make sure you have all of your important data backed up.
