Going to be 10-15 bloat apps on there. Wonder if they can be uninstalled or only disabled....

It's a carrier phone. Did you expect anything less?

I've had my share of carrier phones through the years and much prefer to avoid them, but disabling the bloat isn't too bad - just a little time consuming. Verizon has a lot of it, but believe me AT&T has their share of crud too, and I never found any of it useful. But as long as it can be disabled, it's not a deal breaker - for me anyhow.

Same here. I don't like it but I can disable it so I'm not worried

I had a lot of bloat on the LG G3 but with android L and later, you can disable apps which makes it easy to get rid of apps.

As far as bloatware on the vzw carrier model. In comparison I think I disabled 10-15 apps on my vzw Moto X (2013).But I still loved that phone. So as others said just typical of vzw.
"Maybe" not as much bloat on this is other vzw phones?

You can get a backplate that will cover it. Branding has no effect on me. I barely notice it after a week. Bloatware bothers me a little just because it takes time to get rid of them.

Bloatware is really overstated now that it can be disabled if not uninstalled.

Yeah, so unless you need that space there's little difference between it being disabled and being uninstalled, hence if not.

I use to sweat this until I realized how simple it was to disable the app which effectively removes it from view.

Especially with expandable memory. It doesn't even matter that you can't delete those apps.

You been under a rock? This is typical for most if not all Verizon phones. Takes maybe 2 minutes to uninstall or disable.

Years ago Microsoft was made to allow deletion of some programs. The phone company was finally forced to allow use of other phones on the Bell network. Seems like it is long overdue to force the cell industry to allow deletion of unwanted programs and to make all phones so they can be used on all networks unlocked. If Europe can do it why can't we?

The other issue is that I buy my phones outright so it is my phone and I should be able to remove what I want, but it is what it is.

Guess the OP never buys Verizon handsets then. There are certainly unlocked, bloat free options, getting more common also which is a good thing to see.
Side note: I see the projector mod is 300 bucks. Yikes! Wonder how many of those will sell?

I just don't see the value of the projector especially as a mod. Why would you carry it around except as needed? The being the case, just buy a projector that can connect to any device and bring it as needed.

Agreed, TBH, the projector seems like a really niche mod. Wonder if it would be practical n a business meeting setting? Maybe a quick impromptu showing in an office. More likely use it for porn, hah,ha. Probably better options anyway as you already mentioned.
