Sound like proper charging with USB-C connectors vs. what LG and HTC put out recently.

Comparing the supplied charger to my QC universals I'm thinking it might need 3A minimum to go to turbo charge. My QC ones are 2A and will only charge normal speed.

That's what I'm assuming as well.

Need to find some USB-A home and car chargers that can do 5V/3A to try out.

Got the Verizon branded quick car charger and it works perfect and the turbo charger notification appears on the screen.
