Moto Z and Moto Z Force Droid Edition — what's the difference? | Android Central

    Per Andrew:

Speaking of battery, the Moto Z Force will also come with a higher-power charger to top up that bigger cell — it charges with a 30W (5V/6A) charger, compared to the 15W (5V/3A) charger in the smaller model.
Sound like proper charging with USB-C connectors vs. what LG and HTC put out recently.

Only as an option through Mods, not built in.

Does anyone know if this phone will recognize Qualcomm quick charge wall warts work as "turbo power" chargers?

Comparing the supplied charger to my QC universals I'm thinking it might need 3A minimum to go to turbo charge. My QC ones are 2A and will only charge normal speed.

That's what I'm assuming as well.

Need to find some USB-A home and car chargers that can do 5V/3A to try out.

Got the Verizon branded quick car charger and it works perfect and the turbo charger notification appears on the screen.
