Looks like a Style Mod is included in the box.

I don't see the point to making a phone so thin that you have to carry around a headphone adaptor and then add a bulky battery mod to give it more juice. They could have at least integrated the headphone jack into some of the modules. Even adding a Style cover adds bulk. They could at least left the headphone jack in the Force version.
Oh and the speculated price of these phones is way to high.

If you are referring to Bluetooth....the quality isn't there yet

I only use one wired headset. All others are Bluetooth. I can leave that adapter plugged into my Sol Republic V8s.

I've had no problem with the quality of my Bluetooth headphones. Granted one pair was like 150 and the other was 300. The cheap ones aren't that great though.

So where's the confirmed pricing because if the rumored pricing is true it's going to be a serious flop.

I am. But that's all I'll say before I bow out. I won't get into conversations with "audiophiles" about the topic of cell phone audio quality. There's too many people mixing sound for big Hollywood movies on the train, on their phone, and they all neeeeeeed the best sound possible.

I use Bluetooth also and it's adequate....the masses won't agree.

In the 2nd unboxing - "looks like they're pretty much the same size". Of course they're the same size (other than thickness) - any phone that's going to be compatible with the same moto mods now has to keep the same back shape & size and camera and pin locations. That's one downside to this approach to mods is that you can't decide your next phone should be a 6" or 4.5" or 5" phone and keep using the same mods. Fortunately for me, I've pretty much settled on 5.5" being the size I want, as I've found the 5.9" on the Nexus 6 to be just a bit too large to handle confidently (though I don't think I've dropped it over the last 8 months), but a large screen is nice. My wife on the other hand loves the size of her Droid Mini. If Moto Mods take off, they could settle on a 2nd form factor with its own mods (I'd think 4.7-5").

I think if the masses will buy decent quality stuff, they won't care, and will even come to love the wireless-ness. I'd guess more than half of the people who complain about bluetooth quality either have crap devices or can't actually tell the difference, but want to sound like elite audiophile snobs. Not saying there isn't a difference, but I doubt that "the masses" would notice or care if it wasn't popular to complain about it.

Many experiments have shown when you take away the cues that tell you what you're tasting/seeing/hearing the "obvious" differences suddenly disappear. Humans just aren't that good at consistently judging the "better" of similar things in a vacuum.
