Morning, folks! I've been using Moto Z (and Verizon's exclusive. Moto Z Force) for a week now. Perhaps you've read our review.

Is the quality of the screen on the Z Force vs Z Droid noticeably different? i.e. does the shatterproof tech come with significant compromises on brightness, etc?

Not really. Only time I can tell it's got the extra protection is when the screen gets a little dirty.

Yes, since they're not rated for water resistance. They should fail much faster.

After using the device for a week with mods is there anything that makes you really wish for a mod that's not available yet. In other words any mods that you would design if you could make one

That's a good question ... Didn't really come up with anything while I've been using the phone. It's a phone that does phone things. But it's going to be really interesting to see if the MDK takes off any.

Not really, no. It's a lot like the Turbo was, ya know? More res=more better. The cameras are good. I'd even say really good. But the GS7 is still better.

Nope. It's still a really good phone even without the mods. Problem is there are a LOT of really good phones out there these days.

What do you think of a simple mod that added the headphone jack and an internal cavity to store your buds (the ear kind)? Would that make it look a little pregnant?

To keep this a short-answer question... Besides the drop in display size and the mods-approach, is there anything about the Moto Z that strikes you as being an advance over last year's Moto X Pure?
