    You can pick up the apk on the G Plus xda forums and then install it. I use the xda app so I don't have a link.

    They won't. Photos is the default for the Moto Zs.

    Me too. I love that it automatically backs up to the cloud and I don't have to think about it

    I can somewhat understand the privacy concerns with cloud backup, but at the same time I feel like it means a person has no room to complain if they ever lose photos...

    A very simple Plex setup will auto backup photos to a local computer or NAS.

    I personally have more faith in Google than I do in my house not burning down though. Google has all my things in its cloud.
