I just picked the play up yesterday. Had the note 7 prior. The camera is pretty good outside, but low light inside shots are pretty poor. I downloaded camera fv-5 and it improved the lowlight pics and speed but nowhere near what the note could do. If camera is main priority then go with the force. I'm shocked though how well the play performs. It's fast, really fast with no lags.
