How do you turn off the profanity filter in the moto z?

There is no voice setting link as was present on my previous droid (which was a turbo 2). Also, how do you get rid of the picture icons when you are texting a word and it throws in the icon instead?

Welcome to the forums. You are using Gboard (Google keyboard), right?. Try this. Open the keyboard, long press the 'comma' key, slide to the settings/cog icon and select 'Gboard keyboard settings'. Now you need to change a couple of things here:

- Preferences. Enable 'voice input key'.
- Text correction. Disable 'block offensive words' and 'show emoji suggestions'.
- Voice typing. Disable 'block offensive words' and set your preferences.
