Z2 Force vs. 2016 Z Force?

I've had the 2016 Z Force for a little over a year and I'm still happy with it. I know the spec differences and I've held a Z2 Force and played with it a Verizon store. I'm asking anyone who has owned both their opinion whether there is a significant difference. I'm particularly interested in camera quality as the 2016 Z Force camera is underrated and has OIS while the 2017 has the dual camera set-up with depth of field effects. I anticipate some really good Black Friday deals coming up, but waiting another year seems quite reasonable if I can avoid the temptation for something shiny and new.
