I was fortunate to be able to buy a Moto Z2 Force AT&T edition for $100 when it was on sale at Motorola. I have a couple of questions about it.

(1) Would this phone be locked to AT&T? If so, since it has not been on AT&T network I think should have an easy time getting it unlocked from AT&T.

(2) My understanding is that almost all Moto phones are able to catch all networks, GSM or CDMA. Would Motorola have restricted the bands on this phone to suit AT&T network?

You should be able to get it unlocked since you bought it out right
