Just wondering how does it compare to older Moto phones, which were usually among the best when it comes to the radios-at least the first few Gen of Moto X. Even Moto G6 Play is powerful. And overall, are you satisfied with reception on this phone, especially in poor coverage low signal areas?
The other day I had 2 iPhone X (ATT branded) and 2 Moto Phones (factory unlocked Z play) in a terrible area (house) all on the same network and G6 play was perfectly fine with LTE and even video streaming. Z Play came I n second and had a very poor signal going back and forth HSPA & LTE - as I expected because ATT won't let it stay connected on LTE while call in progress (no VoLTE Certification). But definitely the lack of network calibration kept it unstable even when not used for calls.
And then you have 2 iPhones sitting there absolutely useless with 0 bars and no calls going through-outgoing or incoming. Ridiculous.
So, when we switch back to Verizon, would like to have the most capable device - you know, to use it when needed

So I don't seek out poor coverage areas but in the 2 months that I've had the phone I haven't had any issues.
