It seems that VENUS = Droid Pro, and much different from the CHARM...

They're probably not meant to be compared in the first place (The DROID PRO will probably cost much more than the CHARM. Though no pricing has been announced, I expect $200 for 2-yr contract for DROID PRO and the CHARM is currently available at $50 for 2-yr contract).

    But still...

Thats what i saw today, Droid Pro is much different. The Charm is much cheaper, at $250 Bronze colored from BB. If it only gets a vanilla froyo rom, it wud be superb

Not that impressed with Droid Pro's specs, or any of their other new releases, Motorola continues to release devices with sub 3.5" screens and their Motoblur is still very limiting. If you want a good phone from Motorola it has to be a Droid (Milestone), Droid 2 (Milestone 2), Droid X. And since I'm in Canada, Motorola won't give much support, hence why I ditched my Motorolas recently and I've been an owner of many Motorola devices since the early 90's.
