Should I clarify that I'm using the R2D2 droid 2 when I post here? Is there actually any difference besides some of the skins and the bloatware?

I don't think there's any difference other than the tones, wallpapers, boot-up, etc. Oh and of course the body. But you should specify anyway just to show off!

just to clarify so nobody is mistaken and it may get everyone on the same page.
    D2 (A955) runs at 1Ghz
R2D2 (A955) runs at 1Ghz the only difference between this and the D2 is aesthetics like wallpapers, ringtones, chassis, and boot animation.
    D2G (A956) runs at 1.2 Ghz

Awesome, thanks. So the real question is, why would you buy the D2 over the DR2D2?

...because I don't want to advertise to everyone that I am an Android nerd AND a Star Wars nerd. :-P
