"My data" connecting loop problem

Has anyone had a problem with the "Verizon My Data" widget being stuck in connecting status? All it always says is connecting. And when you click it. It tries to load the "My verizon" page. but then stops and says an error occurred and all you can do is "Force Stop". Can anyone tell me how to delete this or stop it ? Thanks

Get rid of it and get a better data monitoring app from the Play Store.

How do you get rid of it? Verizon told me i couldn't delete it. I don't need a monitoring app anyways. i have grandfathered a unlimited internet package.

If you mean the widget on the home page, try pressing and hold until the page shrinks and then drag to the trashcan at the top of the page.

Root your phone and then you can purchase Titanium Backup and use it freeze the Verizon program. I use Data Counter Widget, which is much more reliable.
