    My phone fell in water a few days ago and I ripped out the battery without thinking or reading the warning. Now, obviously, my phone won't turn on (did the rice bag and all but don't know if that would have done the trick because of the battery issue).

    Is there any possible way to retrieve the pictures and files that are saved on the internal memory? I really want those pictures...

    I replaced the Droid 4 with a Droid Maxx, love it so far, btw...

    I don't think so. Unless you had enabled USB debugging and then you might be able to use ADB commands.
