Charging Light

The Droid 4 is the first phone I've ever had that doesn't light an LED to indicate that it is charging, or indicate that it is fully charged. Is there such a thing on this phone? If so, how do I turn it on? I don't want to have to wake the phone to check the battery level.

It looks like the free app Light Flow will do the trick, even on non-rooted phones. The app gives me the option to change the colors, even. Nice selection too. The one thing I can't seem to make it do is keep the LED on continuously, even when I use Light Flow's Always On setting. Must be some setting Motorola has locked down. But at least I can tell at a glance whether the phone is charging or not, even when it's sleeping. Plus, Light Flow lets me set the LED to a different color when the battery is fully charged. Awesome for a free app.
