MAXX 2 Gyroscope issues/understanding

I bought the maxx 2 a few weeks ago after looking through reviews and device specs. One thing I read is that is has a gryoscope sensor. However, I cannot find settings in the phone to enable that sensor or turn it on. When I download apps that require the sensor, I receive error messages telling me that my device is not compatible.

I'm kind of baffled, as the original maxx had the gyroscope sensor, and I'm reading on other threads that this device does not have one. Can someone confirm for me if this device has one, and if so how to enable it?

Motorola DROID MAXX 2 specs (does not show gyroscope)

Motorola Droid Maxx 2 Specs, Features, Release Date & Price (shows gyroscope as a sensor)

Thanks, apologize for the poor formatting. Posting on mobile.

Try installing CPU-Z and look at the sensors tab. Mine shows an "orientation" sensor which I believe would be the same as a gyro. The app will show you if it's functional as it reports data in real time.

Well having run CPU-Z on my tablet I see that the tablet shows gyroscopic sensors. So I guess my last posts assumption was incorrect.
