Is it possible to go back to external storage? Adoptable is not useful.

Subject line says it all. Almost none of the apps I use can be moved to the SD card being used as adoptable storage so there is no point.

Is it possible to make card external and therefore useful for saving documents and photos? Or have I just wasted money on a quality SD card?

I'd like to know about this too. I have a LG X Power that doesn't let me move my Apps to my SD Card. That's supposedly one of the cons w/ this phone. Do you use Google Photos for your pics? That would help in that regard.
