Issue with Notifications on Droid MAXX

I have had my MAXX since August but have recently been running into issues with notifications. I am constantly having to force close and clear data on my SportsCenter, USA Today, and Hangouts app to begin getting notifications. They then work for a couple hours and stop working again.

Has anyone else experienced these issues?

I hear your frustration!!! I have the same issue with the Weather Channel SportsCenter and a few other apps it is highly annoying

Most likely app specific if it's only certain ones. I never had this problem, wish I could be more of a help.
