Home Button Problem

Ever since the update to KitKat whenever I press the home button it registers as two taps. For instance, if I'm in an app and press the home button it will return me to my home screen. And in nova launcher anytime I press the home button it takes me out of an app and to the home screen overview. Any thoughts?

I noticed this too. I looked through all the settings but didn't find anything to change it. I saw something that pertained to second party launchers that is similar, but not the stock Launcher.

In nova you can change the settings and pick what happens when you hit the home button.
