Is there a way to mount my MAXX as a drive on my PC using the USB cable connection?

The only options I have been able to make work is to connect it as an MTP device or as a camera device. I'd really like to mount it and have it assigned a drive letter and be able to access it through windows. I've searched the forums and internet and I can't find anything. I running KitKat 4.4.

Thanks in advance.

MTP, with proper drivers installed on your PC, should work. It's the best/only option.

Without giving the phone a windows drive letter, I'm unable to use standard windows tools like WinDirStat on the phone. It used to work on the Bionic. I'm not sure if it was the change in Hardware, or the upgrade from ICS to KK the that caused the change. Bummer...

It doesn't populate as a drive, but as a phone icon in Windows Explorer. Expand that out once and you get internal storage, and then that expands into the files on the phone.
