Brand New Droid Maxx on still 4.2.2

Hi there...So I just got my new Maxx and I note its on 4.2.2. When I check update status no update is offered. Should I A: wait patiently or B: go back to Verizon store.

I am not sure how much the carrier store will be able to help. I would just be patient.

It wouldn't hurt to call customer support and see if they can tell you anything. Probably not, but no harm in trying.
Would be more likely to get you some info than asking a sales rep in a store perhaps.

Welcome to Android Central! System updates go out in a rolling fashion, and can take a few weeks to completely roll out to everyone. So I'd just sit tight.

Might take a few days for it to show. Also we just got a new update a few days ago and a few people are saying server issues trying to get it. Give it sometime. Maybe turn your phone off and on and try again.

Well thanks... The updates just came rolling in in several waves a couple of hours ago. Now on 4.4 (with blue icons).
Great device...glad I passed on Samsung.
