It does not seem like there is interest in this phone. The last post was a while ago. My wife wants a replacement phone in the Motorola line that was about the same size as the Bionic. She is a light user and thinks this would be a good choice. Any feedback would be great.

Have two - one rooted, the other stock. Both perform well...on par with Moto X released in 2013. Same processor/specs, performance never lags. Decent battery life; can get a full day with moderate use. Screen is LCD vs OLED which has some implications with active notifications; only appear once while phone is stationary vs pulsing. Remains readable under varied lighting conditions. Supports wireless charging (different from most Moto/Droid siblings). Overall a very pleasant small form-factor handset that remains relevant in late 2014 and will receive OTA Lollipop (according to Motorola). VZW only.

I have a Maxx and my wife has a Mini. Works out well for both: Same OS with really minimal differences, small form factor for her purse, does everything she needs. It might not be the best choice for someone who stores lots of images or files but for a "light user" it is close to perfect.

I have the Maxx and my wife did get the mini. So far all is good. She loves her phone. My wife is coming from a Bionic so the learning curve was easy for her.

Switched from a Droid Mini to the Maxx. Identical in almost every way except size and battery life. Screens are a tad different but overall a very useful device. Plenty powerful, plays almost everything out there in the Play Store. Its factory unlocked so it'll work on other networks, I'm using them both on cricket. I still keep it as my backup, just needed a larger phone since I have an issue fat fingering my text messages.

Girlfriend has one, and it works well. She could care less how many pixels, or the number of CPU cores, which the Mini is more than sufficient for everyday usage. Form factor is nice as well. She has no phone envy.

Have had it for about a week and replaced a Razr M with this since I liked the size. Fine so far, just a few qirky things to work out. The voice recognition when it's on Bluetooth is not as good as it was on the Razr M, volume is low and doesn't seem to be any way to adjust that.
