I imagine I'm not the only one expressing the need for help when using Rom Manager, but the only threads that appear to apply are approaching the triple digits for pages, and this seemed like the best way to ask - so I apologize in advance - here's the dilemma:

Currently running DroidMod 1.0 - bought Rom Manager, want to try Cyanogenmod - downloaded it, tried installing straight from Rom Manager, but the problem is that when rebooted, it freezes on the Droid startup animation looping. I tried renaming the file to update.zip and doing a standard flash, but then I don't have the app market. Any suggestions?
