    To anyone getting this issue:
    -- Install from sdcard...
    Finding update package...
    Opening update package...
    Verifying update package...
E:failed to open /sdcard/update.zip (no such file or directory)
    E:signature verification failed
    Installation aborted.

Just be sure to check the name within the astro app. On my computer everything seemed fine and the file said "update.zip". However, when I went into astro, went to the folder, hit edit, then hit rename astro had it as "update.zip.zip" which was why I was getting the above issue. Sorry if I'm giving info that you already know, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

    It depends.

If you can program and like farting about with things then go for it.

If not, wait until the official release.

That was the main problem for most everyone I think. I couldn't get it to work so many times and finally checked that and poof! worked!!!

I might be doing that. I downloaded a new file that had them combined it was easier that way. I might update to 2.1 but i dunno, no need for me really..

Now that we have heard confirmation of a limited 2.1.1 coming to the droid officially. would you definitely recommend the rooted version of N1's 2.1.0? also is their a N1 2.1.1 ROM for the Droid?

I read some articles saying the official 2.1 will have multi-touch, etc...
This 2.1 version, obviously isn't the same, and it will burn my opportunity to do the official.

So, I will wait for the one over the air, and I will be safe, I suggest you do the same,...

    This is my opinion!
