right now my settings for profiles are :

Charging
600 max
250 min

Sleep
250 max
250 min

Power <100%
1000 max
250 min

battery > 35.3C
500 max
250 min

good to go or no?

EDIT -- tested out the browser, AndroidCentral was loading soooo slow, went back into setCPU, and the battery temp was at 38 C.. so I'm assuming I can't do 1000 and should go down to 800?

Why can't you do 1ghz the way to know if you can't is if you start to ft boot loop or random reboots but they stop when you lower the clock speed. And my phone loads the main page slow at times also

The profiles are good minus the battery level on I would say change the power to 40 and speed somewhere close to stock

So for battery temp > 35.3 my settings should be?

? Max
? Min

When I tried 1000 the battery temp was up to 38 C within minutes..

went down to 800 -the AC loaded fast, and the battery temp went down to 34.0

Sorry for all the questions.. used to jailbreaking iphones being so much easier lol

Right now my phone is charging and reportinga temp of 43 degrees c. but run hour pine at whatever speed hour comfortable at because ultimatelyits your phone your decision. but u will say the proctemp is more important than the.batt temp

How do I check the processor temp?

I read on another Android site the battery is good until 60 C.. so I'm thinking 40ish is ok..

The batteryis good up to those temps so you should be fine the only kernel I know that is able to display proc temp is the taz kernel but its not compatiblewith the sholes Rom

It depends on your phone but most I've heard of have no issue running at that speed. just look for signs your phone can't handle it. if its getting crazy hot rebooting on you or your getting bootloops then it can't if the temps are reasonable your good. my temp is 30c right now at 1ghz

Oh man... Mine will run 1.2 ghz no problem! well same problem lol its actually the same problem... I was even trying to run stock mhz and same issues for me... But I dont even care about accessing my syncing... If I run 1.2 the battery goes way faster and temps get warm.. but like you said, when Im charging my phone gets way hotter!

I'm still undecided with whether I'm going to stay at 1 flat or go back to 800 where I have no problems.

Granted.. the only problem I have at 1 GhZ is the temp getting to 42 c... no reboots or anything.

Personally, that is a bit too high for my preference. When I thought about the speed difference, it wasnt enough of a difference to put my device through the added stress of the higher temperatures. Personally I felt like I was risking it for no apparent reason.

Many will beg to differ about that, but that was my experience. Personally, even stock is fast enough.
