Hi all,

So I'm ready to sell my moto droid and since I read you cant activate it on verizon with it being rooted/having cyanogen 6.0 with custom kernal on I have to take it back to 2.2. My question is in what order do I have to do this and where can I get the stock 2.2 rom? I used the simple 1 click to root, so I'm not sure if i should plug in the usb and click unroot, and then take off cyanogenmod or reverse order. Problem is I'm using my thunderbolt now so I don't have service on it to get stuff through rom manager. I tried googling and found either unroot guides or broad CM uninstall guides but never doing both at once. Any help is appreciated.

You have wi-fi you can use to get ROMs through ROM Manager with, download the un-rooted stock 2.2 image and flash it, should work fine.

I have no problems activating either of my rooted and ROM'd phones. I have a Droid with Cyanogen and a Droid X with Liberty. I switch back and forth through the week.
