After updates OC to 800 max

After I have updated both SetCPU and Overclock! my phone will only set to 800mhz max when before I could go up to 1000mhz.

I am on 2.1 SimplyStunning v1.0.0 2/12/2010

Any ideas?

Better 2.1 OC rom I should try?

Anytime you update make sure that SetCPU has your phone listed as -autodetect- and not a specific model

I've had it a few times upgrading that it comes back as a specific model and limits my clock speed. Set it back to Auto and I can get the full 1.25GHZ out of it (Chevy's kernel).

Any time you update your ROM, you will loose the kernel that you had from the previous ROM. Say, if the dev decided to include a different kernel for whatever reason, Or if you had a custom kernel previous to the update. Just find an OC kernel that takes you to a higher OC and flash it. MOST devs are finding that OC's higher than 8-900mhz cause more problems than they are worth. Also, the newer ESE53 2.1 roms are WAY faster and usually require less OC in the first place.
