I know that a lot of people on sites like this tend not to keep their phones for 2+ years, but for $100 you do get a new or "like new" battery, plus the bump in storage and design refresh. Interesting...........

I absolutely hate the Verizon logo on the bottom of the front of the phone! It's so unappealing!

Yes, it is not in a great spot and it's asymmetrical look is a bit jarring. But you've got to admit it is pretty subtle for a logo.

Once I own a phone for about a week, my eyes tend to overlook stuff like that.

Just saw on Moto's website that you do get to use the design refresh WITHIN the 2 years! That is not a bad deal.

The offer to include the design refresh feature lasts til the end of this year (so I they don't have to hold on to parts for 3 years 😀. )

You can also do your refresh starting around thanksgiving.

    From Motorola's site:

You’re free to choose all over again with a design refresh. Moto Maker gives you over a thousand design combinations to choose from. And now you don’t have to settle for just one. With a design refresh, you can redesign your 64 GB** DROID Turbo 2 by Motorola one time within two years of purchase. Offer available through December 31st, 2015.*

I'm sure you're aware of this by now, but it's easily removed.
