I haven't seen anyone comment on it in any of the reviews I read. I thought one of the worse things with the Turbo was the slippery caseback on both models, and it forced me to get a case for the first time. So did they get it right with the T2?

I bought it today and to me it's still a little slick. I was hoping to not have to use a case but to be honest the sides of the phone are slick enough I went ahead and bought a slim case to put on it to add some grip.

I wish they would sell just a bumper like they did for the Moto maxx 2 years ago that would be perfect for this phone because the sides are so slick.

Overall the phone feels really good but wasn't quite as grippy as I wanted, but I'm a little picky about that I am NOT ready to test the screen! Lol

How about the read of the phone? Is it rubberized of sorts? That's the part that I always felt like was going to slide out of my hand last time around.

Not a good grip. imo worse than the mgf Turbo. I definitely couldn't see one handed texting without some type of rubberized case, but then again I have small girly hands

The "Cushioned" back seemed grippy enough to me. But I'd still put a case on it. My sister went with a Tech21 case.

Holding it in store, the soft-touch aspect feels nice but I was surprised it was not that grippy. The pattern looks good but does nothing for grip. I think the line (almost ribbed) pattern on the Moto X adds more texture and would be better for that purpose.

If it is actually silicone, it is the least grippy silicone case I've ever felt. I've had lots of silicone cases & they are all more grippy. I've had a few soft grip rubber coated plastic cases & the Turbo feels more like those than siicone.
