Moto Voice not listening long enough

Using Moto Voice when driving - automatically alerts me to incoming txt mesage, will read it outloud and ask if I want to reply - all works fine. Problem is when I begin to dictate my response to send as a reply, Moto Voice will listen, but after the first 3 or 4 words will stop listening and read back these first few words of my reply to me - I cannot get it to listen long enough to capture the entire phrase (maybe 10 words or so) that I am trying to reply with.....
FYI, Moto Voice will wake up just fine when I say it's launch phrase.
Any thoughts on how to extend this "listening time" would be appreciated.

If you pause at all, even briefly it will think your done. You can't talk in a normal pace. Even saying punctuation is enough sometimes to make it stop. At least that's my experience.

Yea, don't pause at all, think about what you're going to say first. Or just say "no" when it reads back the message and repeat your message with the additional text.
