How do I remove data eating apps from the Turbo 2??

How do i remove data eating apps from the turbo 2??

I just got the turbo 2 & I thought that I read somewhere that there is an app that should be turned off so it doesn't eat up all of your data... Is this true? And what app is it??

Not sure about any particular app that would cause excessive data consumption, but you are able to disable most of the Verizon/Motorola related apps, and others that came with the phone, that you are not interested in using. Settings/Apps/Downloaded or scroll to All. Also, you can check the "Apps Safe to Disable/Delete thread in this Forum.

Yes, I recommend this product.
Great phone however make sure you go to apps in settings and disable the app DT ignite. This app downloads and updates without asking for permission and eats data up. Verizon people need to remove it. I had my phone for an hour and it used a quarter gig of data.

Yes, by all means, disable DT Ignite, but only because some apps may be downloaded to your phone from the Verizon. It's not a data issue as such, but stuff being sent to your phone that you didn't ask for or agree to.
