On my note there was an option to make notifications sounds volume different from your ringer volume and I cant find it on the droid turbo 2. Is this not an option?

Try settings > sounds> volumes and there should be a breakdown of the ringer volume, notifications, etc.

I use an app called Volume Ace.

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...eacefree&hl=en

It allows you to set up different profiles for different situations. Ex: I have a "work" profile where all notifications and ringers are silent but vibrate. "Sleep" will ring very quietly but nothing else, "Loud" everything is all the way up... you get the idea. Simple toggle widgets.

There is no settings>sound>volume. Only media, ringtone, alarm

Sorry that was on 4.4. I finally got the turbo 2 and can't find a solution on 5.1.
