Dude why are you asking to delete this thread?
Probably because soak testers agree not to discuss the test. It always amazes me that people don't keep their agreement.

A soak test is being pushed to certain usersusers. If everything goes ok then an update may roll out within the next couple of weeksweeks.

Many times (for reasons I don't understand) Motorola distributes the update to people who are not part of the soak test. That said, in this case I doubt it; the OP wouldn't have cared about posting, because they wouldn't have made an agreement not to discuss the soak test.

In fact, see paragraph two of the AC story: Marshmallow soak test begins for Droid Turbo 2 | Android Central

I have been a member of the Motorola Feedback Network for a while. When I heard today that they were sending out soak tests I checked my profile and saw it still was registered to a Moto X I had owned so I changed it over to my DT2 with the serial and imei. Has anyone gotten it?

Update page up again on Verizon for droid turbo 2 marshmallow update, droid life I'd saying update available tomorrow for general public. Maybe soak was already done and not everyone who signed up got it.

I taught Verizon had even started rolling out Marshmallow and then pulled it back the 1st of Feb.....

So this is a soak test for a later build?

There was reportedly a non-soaked update for the employee edition Turbo 2 only in December. The T2 employee edition as far as I know was sold only to Verizon employees - I remember that I think the Maxx they actually sold the thing retail, but not the T2.

I taught Verizon had even started rolling out Marshmallow and then pulled it back the 1st of Feb.....
That was an unsubstantiated rumor if you heard that. AFAIK they only posted the Marshmallow update PDF a few weeks ago (and pulled it shortly after) without actually updating the phone. Obviously somebody made a mistake.

I'm suspecting that the OP was a hoax. Either that or everybody who received the soak test have been unusually good about not posting.

Verizon's update page lists the marshmallow update as 3/1/2016. Looks like there will be a 2 phase rollout. I believe the first rollout will be a security patch and then 6.0 to follow.

Want to no how much free space you need for Marshmallow. For lollipop I needed at least 3GB's of space.

I'm keeping Lollipop on my Turbo 2 in case someone finds a root exploit, since I already have marshmallow on my Nexus.

I got Marshmallow this weekend. I'm part of the Moto soak and got the notification last Friday morning, installed it Friday night and I've been using it this weekend and today. It's not a whole lot different but it did seem to improve battery life. Off charger about 15 hours and listened to audible for about 3 hours through a bluetooth earpiece, did a little Facebook and chatting and email and only went down about 23%.
