I just accepted the update. Now I am wondering if the cognoscenti can let all of us know what changed.

My wifi battery drain had improved, this new update might have brought the drain back. I noticed it today more than lately. Will keep an eye on it.

Got this yesterday as well. No difference in battery or speed performance. Probably just some patches and fixes.

Still no WiFi calling? Guess I'm not updating yet. I'm one of those idiotic fools waiting for root, haha.

Upgraded our three DT2's last night OTA - all seems to have worked just fine. No change in android OS version (still 6.0). No obvious changes to any features. No noticeable change in behavior, battery, etc. yet.

Maybe a security patch of some kind, like other Android phones regularly receive? Just speculating.

Verizon's page list the update, but it only gives a changelog or "whats new" for the entire Marshmallow update: DROID TURBO 2 Software Update | Verizon Wireless

This might be a bug fix or security patch.

Will this OTA update a Lollipop DT2 or just a Marshmallow DT2? I have heard that Verizon pulled the Marshmallow OTA update.

I accidentally took the update... oh well. It isn't a security patch. It's still on the March 1 patch on my phone.

The prior OTA's brought the phone up to Marshmallow. This is some kind of small patch it seems. No Android OS version change. Still version 6.0.

Well I have 5.1.1 now, so installing these two updates brings me to marshmallow?

Since there have been a number of reports of the original marshmallow update being pulled because of problems, I'd assume that this update merely fixes whatever those problems were.

Interesting that a T2 without 6.0 gets this build update.

I'm updating two Verizon Motorola Turbo 2s right now.
So far it looks to be a simple upload for both.

    Yes

I had the interrupted update that so many had which would not progress forward. I was on 5.1.1 and now on 6.
No noticeable differences here on performance, battery, or satisfaction. At least I can stop waiting and stop worrying.

I am a bit confused about what folks are reporting. Is this update bringing 5.1.1 devices to Marshmallow (addressing whatever the earlier concerns were), and doing some unknown minor tweak for phones already on 6.0, so everyone will now be at the same release?

Yes to everything before your left parenthesis, maybe to everything after

Such a great response. I love it. I presume that some minor tweaking was done but without a change log, it is simply impossible to know the details.

Our company uses Verizon for our company phones, I just received my Turbo 2 tonight , got everything set up, all my emails, apps, and app data, (thank you Helium) but hadn't been paying attention, I really thought the 6.0 update had been pulled, after getting everything finished I was prompted about a 2 part update, I wish this would have popped up on the initial setup, I've never done a whole incriminate update without doing a FDR. I'm not in the mood to start over tonight. Anyone NOT do a factory data reset after installing 6.0? Any problems? I'm probably just being lazy, I've always done one on my personal Nexus 6 with every whole digit update but that's an unlocked Google play store phone. Just wondering if anyone is seeing problems with this update without a FDR.
    P. S. I did do a cache wipe at least.
