Message preview on lock screen

I have a droid turbo 2 and I use the message+ app. The app updated today and now instead of just saying I have a message from someone, it shows the message. How can I turn off message preview but still be able to see who the message is from on my lock screen?

Open message + and press the menu button (3 bars) at top left corner and click settings.
Scroll down to (Enable Popup Over Lock Screen) and uncheck.
If you don't want the pop up to show when the phone is open, uncheck (Enable Popup)
