I cannot remember how to edit the app menu.

I just did a factory reset, and I can't remember if I'm able to make a folder or not, and if I am able, I sure enough can't figure it out.

I think that you cannot hide apps in the app menu? What I like to do when this is the case, is to make a folder called "crap apps" and drag all of the apps in there that I don't want to clutter up the menu.

I know that with Nova Launcher you can hide apps from the app drawer, but you cannot with the stock launcher (that I know of), and I also don't think that you can created folders of apps in the app drawer.

You don't have to root a phone to install a replacement launcher. It's not an uncommon thing to do.

What's the most basic replacement launcher that you would recommend for non rooted phone? Meanwhile I'll check that out on my own, but I want to circle back to see what you like best.

Thank you!
