Any way to restore app data?

Was having trouble with one of my games so I deleted the cache & data & now all my save data is lost (my mistake I no) is there a way to get the data back? Surely Google should if backed up the game & data? Any help would be appreciated.

Your best bet is to contact the game developer.

App data gets backed up by the OS only if the app is designed to do so; if it is not happening, it is the app developer's fault, not Google's.

Ok will try that but they may not even reply. Been trying to look for an app that could restore the game data but no luck phone needs to be rooted & I don't wanna do that.

The first step in rooting your phone destroys *all* the data on it, anyway. Rooting is something you do *before* you need to, not after.

Don't worry I won't be rooting my phone as I'll probably end up bricking it. Really hoping the data is still on my phone somewhere & I can get it back. Don't really wanna start again. I've messaged the developer just hope they reply.
