    Last night I payed for free adds in one of my games but I'm still getting adds in the game. I can see money has been taken but nothing in the game has changed. I've contacted the developer twice but how long do I have to wait for no adds? Is there anything I can do to get the no adds? On Google's troubleshooting it says to force stop the app & close the app & re open it. I've done this & the adds are still there.

    The developer is CanadaDroid. Any help would be appreciated.

    Generally speaking, it's almost instant. Occationally you would have to exit the game or restart the phone. If you've already done that, you may need to file a complaint with Google (or your payment processor) if the developer isn't responding.

    Just tried restarting the phone & the add still popped up. May try clearing the cache. Do you think that would work?

    One thing you can try, if you have not already, is uninstall the game, and then reinstall it. The in-app purchase is still tied to your account.

    If you don't get this worked out, add a one star review for the game to the Play Store entry, explaining why. People should know about this.

    If I uninstall it won't all my data get deleted too? Can't back it up to Google play games or the cloud anywhere.

    Yeah, it will. Try first clearing cache, as you said. Go to settings - apps - select the game - force stop - clear cache - restart your phone and hope for the best If no go, a quick answer from the devs is your best chance.

    I've contacted the developer & left a one star review explaining why it's only 1 star. They haven't contacted me at all. The company is in Hong Kong so I no there awake when I'm asleep seems I'm in Europe. Hopefully I'll wake up tomorrow with an email from them. Fingers crossed.

    Contacted Google & they said they can't refund me coz it's over the allotted time for them to refund. They asked me to contact the developer for a refund but I've done that & they haven't replied to any of my messages at all. What else can I do? Seem to be stuck here.

    Urk, the refund window is 15 minutes after purchase.

    You might just be out of luck.
