Is DROID Turbo 2 on Nougat Google Daydream VR compatable

Received the Nougat update this morning and it works very well on my DT2. I've noticed thea the Moto Z Force on Nougat is Google Daydream VR compatible. I've also read that the Moto Z Force is the non Verizon version of the DROID Turbo 2. I've tried to load Google VR Services from the Google Play store and received a message saying that my phone is not compatible.

Does anyone know it the DT2 has Google Daydream VR compatibility after Nougat upgrade?

If those apps aren't compatible, then officially it's not supported.
