I only experience wifi issues with my droid turbo, i have a cisco wap at home that after 15 to 20 minutes the phone stops passing traffic on the lan and internet but doesn't drop from the ssid. If i disconnect and reconnect, everything works for another 15-20 minutes. I have a work S5, and Tab3 that work flawlessly and never lose connection. I have tried using static ip on the phone, i dont have it turn off the connection when sleeping and changed it to 2.4 ghz. I use wpa2, i am now testing wpa to see if that works. I also switched channels on AP.

We have enterprise cisco WAP's at work it works with all day long no issues. Not sure why its picking out my home AP to pitch a fit and not work. Any ideas besides new phone or AP?

I have exactly the same problem. I use CISCO WAP121 and my Android 5.1 Smartphone stops passing traffic after 15 to 20 minutes.
The connection keep on, after a reconnect the same issue.
Every other non Android phone or Laptop is working fine.
My Android 5.1 Smartphone works perfect with every other type of AP.
So the problem exists only when i combine the CISCO WAP121 and my Android 5.1 Smartphone.

Did you ever get a solution for your problem?
